had lunch here yesterday. it was hopping, and surprisingly good. Burger was greasy and delicious, and the service was pretty good considering the really reasonable prices. Overall it was really impressive but I wish they had beer. Will definitely return again (and again and again).

LOL, I was thinking of the same thing too, but didn't want to post it. I actually think it's borderline insulting to Shake Shack to even mention it in the same breath as Emoji Burger, but to be fair, I haven't tried Emoji yet. It just seemed kind of ridiculous to hear  ;D  I can't wait to try a burger there, but they're not up on Seamless yet. It's probably a good idea to wait though, while they iron out the kinks.

Sorry guys, don't share your love of The Shack.  There are actually quite a few of us, I believe.

Echoing the sentiments of another poster about another food, I don't buy into the hype And I wouldn't be surprised if emoji's meat is of higher quality.

Shake Shack, 5 Guys, Bare, Petey's and Emoji all have a good burger.  The only Queens joint that has produced a burger that literally made me go "OMFG" would be Dirty Pierre's in Forest Hills.

Tired Emoji yesterday for lunch.  We had what is basically their cheeseburger on the sesame bun and the fries. My reaction was mixed--was lacking a bit in taste...maybe the burger seems overwhelmed by the bun and lettuce inside.   I enjoyed the fries.  Will want to try some of the other burger choices.  Don't think this compares to Shake Shack--although I think their burger quality is not what it was now that it is a global company vs. when it was just a shack in Madison Sq. Park.   As someone else noted, one thing Emoji can improve is the quality of its ketchup and mustard--the yellow mustard and ketchup packs don't live up to the quality burger joint they are going for.  Appreciate the thought in the decor and creative menu.  By the looks of it, this place will be successful, I will definitely give it another try.

Not knowing much about Pat Lafrieda or his beef, I decided to do a little research.  Found out that since 2004, Lafrieda has been handling the Shake Shack account.   So, raw materials wise, I wouldn't be surprised if the same beef that goes into shake shack is what is in the Emoji burger.

tried the place yesterday.  They still have to work out some things but overall I found the place to function well.  I bought the bacon burger (whatever that is called) for a friend and he said it was good.  The sweet potato fries were ok but I don't think I would buy them again.  Nice to have a place in the neighborhood.  I wish them success  Still prefer Ottomanelli's cafĂ© in Woodside

I've ate there twice since they've opened. I would actually say they're on par with Shake Shack for the burgers. Their delivery is also very fast! Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood.

We were disappointed they don't have a good veggie/bean burger for vegetarians. The teriyaki Portobello burger just does't cut it, it was soggy. The regular burger and fries were great though :).

Ditto, after reviewing the menu I decided against it. A mushroom cap is not a veggie burger and if it is going to be veggie why add cheese and aioli?

This is strange, as I believe Just Made 4 U has a homeade veggie burger.
