i think having a bareburger anywhere remotely close to jackson heights is asking too much. it would be nice if Emoji Burger had the same set up

My spouse pointed out that the logo looks like a ripoff of "Umami Burger" so maybe that is what they are aiming for.

It's a California chain that recently opened an outpost near NYU. I've only been once in LA a few years ago...high-quality burgers with interesting flavor combinations. Especially stuff with "umami" flavors like mushrooms, truffle oil, salty aged cheese, etc.

Maybe, although I don't see that much similarity.  I see more affinity with the hamburger and cheeseburger emojis from the Emojipedia :)

Umami burger is pretty good -- even if it tries too hard. But: they serve beer and wine, as I remember. It would be awesome if Emoji followed suit.

But it doesn't deliver to JH. There is no way to get a burger with a GF bun delivered to my house. And this is New York. That should be an achievable goal.

fair enough. i never think of burgers as delivery because i like to eat them rare, and i LOVE fries, which almost never travel well. but yeah, you certainly should have that option with dietary restrictions.

It's interesting that the names Emoji Burger and Just Made 4 U were conceived by the same people. Seems like they make a lot of business decisions through text messages.
