I've been going to Zumba classes in Travers with Lisseth. These have been fun with the steps not being that complicated--and truly all levels, all ages, and plenty of space to distance. She teaches with 1 or 2 other women. It's by donation. She is at Travers on:

Mondays 10 am
Tuesdays 8 am
Wednesdays 8 am
Thursdays 9 am

There's another Zumba teacher named Adry who I've heard is teaching. I'm not sure what her rate is, probably by donation. Her IG is @zin-adry. When I've taken classes w her before it's less dance, and more aerobics, some conditioning: Squats, etc.

Mondays 6:30 pm
Thursdays 6:30 pm
Sundays 9 am

I know there are other teachers too.

Sharing this PDF from Guardians of Flushing Bay:

"Overview: On Monday, March 15th the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released the next-to-final step of its environmental review process. The FAA has declined to meaningfully evaluate all but one politically expedient airport transportation alternative—the one that cuts between an environmental justice community and its waterfront park. This is irresponsible transit planning with no eye toward environmental justice, transit equity or potential displacement.

Use the guide below to join Guardians of Flushing Bay in our call on the Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for an environmental review redo!"

Hi Matt

Unfortunately you would need an IG account to bid. You can set up a temporary account and then ditch it after the auction is over. Some people we know are doing that.

thank you!
Linda
