The Art from the Epicenter art auction is now open for bidding on Instagram. Here is our Instagram page. The auction ends on June 10 at 9 pm EST. Over 70+ artists have donated work, and minimum bids range from $20 to $100.


How it works:

Bidders place bids via the comments on the post they like. After June 10, winning bidders make a direct donation to one of three organizations helping our community. Once we have proof of the donation, we will instruct the artists to ship the work.


The three organizations are:

Covid Care Neighbor Network. is a mutual aid group covering Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and Woodside.



Make the Road New York builds the power of immigrant and working class communities to achieve dignity and justice. It has set up a COVID-19 Emergency Response fund to provide critical support to our communities.



Meals for Elmhurst hospital is purchasing large quantities of meals from local restaurants to feed the staff of Elmhurst hospital.

This is a great initiative! Is there any way for people to view or bid on work who do not have Instagram accounts? Those of us without accounts can only view a limited number of works before asked to join Instagram.

The Art From the Epicenter art exhibition/auction will be closing on Wednesday night at 9 pm. There is still a lot of great work available! Here is the Instagram page that hosts the auction.

The three organizations that we are asking bidders to donate directly to are: the Covid Care Neighbor Network, Make the Road NY, or Meals for Elmhurst Hospital Staff!, a gofundme that is buying large quantities of meals from local vendors.
