Stephanie Beck
http://www.stephaniebeck.org/ works with wood and paper to create sculptural forms and installations inspired by the body and architecture. Her work has been included in a two-person exhibition at Musee d’art Modern Andre Malraux, Le Havre, France and in group exhibitions at Cite de ‘l’architecture et du patrimonie, Paris, France; the International Print Center, New York, NY; and AIR Gallery, Brooklyn, NY. Stephanie has participated in various artist residencies, including the Artist Studios program at the Museum of Arts and Design, New York, NY, an exchange program in Le Havre, France, and residencies at the Center for Book Arts and Triangle Arts in New York, NY. She has also collaborated on set, prop, and costume design with Brooklyn-based dance/theater company, Racoco Productions. Stephanie has an M.F.A. from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, a Post-Baccalaureate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Virginia.
