Saturday September 19th 4-10

Neighborhood BBQ and more at Saint Marks Church
3350 82nd St

Saint Marks invites you to a neighborhood BBQ and dance.

There will be feasting (Gluten Free, too), and frolicking.

Get to know your neighbors - in real time, not just online. Dinner is  followed by dancing.

Donations are :$10 adults, $5 for seniors or children.

Rain or shine! It's easier to frolic if you don't get soaking wet.

Looking forward to seeing you on the 19th!

Full disclosure: This is a fund raiser to help maintain our beautiful gardens

PS - If you would like to bring a special dish, please email to:stmarksjh@verizon.net

If you are the same poster also posting in jhfamilies, it sounds like a lower level of Hell. If not, you have a companion.

If you are - Please try to find a lawyer.

This sounds awful. :o :-[

Dear Wired JH Members: What other sources besides this site (what sub-heading?), and jhfamilies are there to post upcoming events?

Dear Non Wired JH Members: How do we reach you?

This is a serious question. Would love any feedback. This would be helpful for us all!

Thanks,

Not really OT: I haven't mentioned FM once here, 82oldie.

Now I really feel like a slime dog for not posting earlier - and on multiple sites about the Midsummer (it really was close to the the OFFICIAL midsummer food fun)

By the way, the food was great.

Verrry clever!! Now I will HAVE to go to Restaurants to see what you posted. Heh heh heh.

I see the Dog Days are among us. 6 pages of drivel about ALLEGED vagrants.

Get a grip, folks.

Do they also take donations?

Hey, can we insert the Gentrification (OMG) controversy here, too?

28
Probably not many people around who still remember the 2 stores that dominated the spaces on 82nd St.

Woolworth on the left side and Kresge's on the right. Or vice versa, I'm a bit dyslexic.

Weren't they chain stores serving the middle class?

Be sure to check the Parade Schedules before mapping out your ride.

Walk one block north when you get out of the train. Why walk on Roosevelt at all?
