And since Helen Reddy is not in my living room I can add this one.

Under my thumb
The girl who once had me down
Under my thumb
The girl who once pushed me around

It's down to me
The difference in the clothes she wears
Down to me, the change has come,
She's under my thumb

That's sooo misogynistic.  But aren't most of the best Stones songs?

I had to get out my dictionary for Misogynistic!!  But there is no doubt about their misogynisticness (there's another new word for me).  My friend who has been to numerous Stones concerts told me at one concert there was a feminist group demonstrating outside against them and he opened the concert with "Under My Thumb" and dedicated it to the protesters outside.

To all the girls I've loved before
Who travelled in and out my door
I'm glad they came along
I dedicate this song
To all the girls I've loved before

Wasn't it Bill Clinton who sang this?

He didn't sing it, he just lived it.

These guys were the weirdest guys for a while...

Welcome to the place where all the creatures meet
The last building to your left on a dead-end street.

Youll find skeleton bones outside on the pavement
And torture chambers down in the basement.

Cobwebs hanging over your head
And music being played by the grateful dead.

And spinnin' on the turntables back to back
Is no other than my main man wolfman Jack.

Artist: P. Diddy f/ Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent (G-Unit), Lloyd Banks (G-Unit)
Song:   Victory

Ten Year
Yo the sun don't shine forever
But as long as it's here then we might as well shine together

Better now than never, business before pleasure
P. Diddy and the Fam, who you know do it better?

Yeah right, no matter what, we air tight
And when you hear something, make sure you hear it right

Though I've tried before to tell her
of the feelings I have for her in my heart
every time that I come near her
I just lose my nerve
as I've done from the start

Saw them at Shea Stadium in 1983 with Joan Jett and REM.  Can anyone name them?

Patti Smith is way cool.  I have a signed book of her poetry.

eddie, I'm blank right now on your lyrics but I'm also tired.  Don't tell me yet.  I need another day to think.

It must be love, I'm feeling
This must be love
Oh this must be love, I'm feeling
This must be love

Well I wait in every day, just in case,
You decide to call
And I can hardly wait,
'cause I never thought time could pass so slowly

This must be love, Phil Collins

This is a s simple as it gets for Collins, but it worked!

How can I just let you walk away, just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking every breath with you, ooh
You're the only one who really knew me at all

How can you just walk away from me,
when all I can do is watch you leave
Cos we've shared the laughter and the pain and even shared the tears
You're the only one who really knew me at all

Rocket man
"She packed my bags last night pre-flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And I’m gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much I miss my wife
It’s lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight

And I think it’s gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I’m not the man they think I am at home
Oh no no no I’m a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
