yeah I knew Stop Your Sobbing was written by the Kinks. Chrissie Hynde dated Ray Davies when they did that song.  But when I think of the song, I think Pretenders.  I forgot who did Surfer Bird. A few bands covered that song but I love the Cramps version.  Thanks for refreshing my memory with that one.

Knew Dylan right away.  Love Dylan lyrics.

And I know I know Jesus died for somebody's sins but I'm blanking so I'm going to look it up.  ***** Patti Smith!  I have a signed book of her poetry from 1971.  No wonder I kinda remembered but I'm sleepy tonite.

What's the I got a letter from the government from?

I can't get this song out of my head.  A lot of it has to do with that fact that the movie is always on these days.

Hint, hint....The song's name appears in the lyrics  ;)

Extreme ways are back again
Extreme places I didn't know
I broke everything new again
Everything that I'd owned
I threw it out the windows, came along
Extreme ways I know move apart
The colors of my sea
Perfect color me

I'm drawing a blank.  And I'm too tired to go to one of the lyric sites and look it up.  Tell me.

It's Moby's Extreme Ways.  Not written specifically for the Bourne Identity, but has been a hit for the movie.

knew a girl named Nikki
I guess you could say she was a xxx fiend
I met her in a hotel lobby
Mxxxxg with a magazine
She said how'd you like to waste some time
And I could not resist when I saw little Nikki grind

She took me to her castle
And I just couldn't believe my eyes
She had so many devices
Everything that money could buy
She said sign your name on the dotted line
The lights went out
And Nikki started to grind

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! NIKKI!!!!!!! oh... :o

Is this too graphic?? Anyway Prince 1984 (and you thought 2008 was too graphic)...LOL
