Internet Service Provider in JH
« on: September 26, 2014, 10:45:19 AM »
hi all. i absolutely hate time warner cable and have no use for my cable. i tried to cancel it and keep only my internet to save some money but the price remained the same. has anyone here gotten rid of time warner cable and signed up for just internet service from another company? we don't really have a lot of options with the big companies in the neighborhood but i was curious if there were any other ones out there that i don't know about. i live near 34th and the 80's.

thanks!

Yep.  We have just Verizon internet.  They hassled us for not having landline phone service but relented.

Is that FIOS or DSL?

We're on 78th and 34th, we have RCN and are quite happy with it.

How long have you had it? We called RCN a couple of months ago and were told they didn't service our area yet.
I'd really like to get away from Time Warner.
