Tiny Tadpoles 2010 Schedule

Infant and Preschool Aquatics
Children have a positive early experience in the pool.  Class builds swimming readiness by emphasizing fun in the water.  A parent or responsible adult must accompany the child in the water at all times.  Children must wear a swimming diaper (fully toilet-trained children are exempt)
2010 schedule
Thursdays @ 4:30 and 5:00pm July 8, 15, 22, 29, Aug. 5, 12, 19
The 4:30 class is for 6 months-2 years.
The 5:00 class is for 2-4 years.

Saturdays @ 10:00, 10:30am and 11:00 July 10, 17, 24, 31 Aug. 7, 14, 21
 The 10:00am class is for 6 months-2 years
The 10:30am class is for 2-4 years.
The 11:00am class is for 2-4 years.

Tadpoles should:
Arrive 5-10 minutes early
Bring a swimsuit and towel
Not eat 30-45 minutes before swim class

To clarify, men are welcome. There have been tons of dads that have participated over the years.  I don't know who told you that information. I  used the term "mommy and me" simple to indicate that an adult must accompany the child in the water.  The term must have caused some confusion.  Sorry about that. 

The class is a Red Cross Infant/ preschool aquatics class.  Dads, grandpas, moms, grandmas, care givers of all genders are welcomed.

Get a jump start on swimming with Tiny Tadpoles where kids learn swimming readiness through fun in the water!  This a Red Cross Program taught (mostly) by Margaret Murray.

Eight half-hour classes $260
Thursday:
July 2-August 20

Saturdays

*Includes seven Saturday classes, plus one Thursday of your choice

Just wanted to inform you about the pilates class at Garden School.  New session of 9 classes begins tomorrow, Wednesday 7:30. Located at Garden school's
3rd floor dance room.  You will need comfortable clothes and a yoga or
pilates mat. 
9 classes,  fee $160.
 (less than $18 per class!)
Drop-in $25 a class
No class the day b/4 Thanksgiving, Christmas eve and New Year's eve.

Tiny Tadpoles swim Program will be held this summer at Garden School’s outdoor pool in Jackson Heights. The pool is located on 78th street between 34th Ave and Northern Blvd. A teacher with over 12 years experience teaches this American Red Cross Program.  The ½ hour class will run for 8 consecutive weeks.


2008 Class schedule:

Mondays July 7, 14, 21, 28 Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25
4:00-4:30 (6 months-2 years)
4:30-5:00 (2 years-5 years)
or
Thursdays July 10, 17, 24, 31 Aug 7, 14, 21, 28
4:00-4:30 (6 months-2 years)
4:30-5:00 (2-5years)
or
Saturday July 12, 19, 26, Aug. 2, 9,16, 23

Rain dates will be scheduled as needed.  The fee for the 8 classes is $260.
(If you register for Saturdays you take your 8th class on any Monday or Thursday since there are only 7 Saturdays available.)

The pilates class at Garden school is now moving to Wednesday nights 7:30pm.
Start date: May 21st
Fee: $20 per class if you sign up for all 7 classes.  ($140 for the session) Plus you can attend the make-up class July 9.
Drop-in fee $25
All you need is a yoga or pilates mat and comfortable clothes. 
The instructor is from a Studio in Dumbo  (Bridge Pilates) and it is named one of the best in "city search" last year. 
All levels are welcomed!

Hi there,
Below is info about the new set of plates classes I organize at Garden School.
The class runs for 8 consecutive weeks.  Starting March 7-April 25 (Make-up class May 2). Fee $160
The instructor is from a studio in Dumbo, she's really great.
The class is one hour @ 7:30pm.  All you need is a yoga mat and comfortable clothes.
If you need to miss one class, there will be one make-up on May 2.

If you want to "drop-in" and not sign up for all 8 classes, the fee is $25 a class.
