Jackson Heights Life

I would like to keep jacksonheights.nyc going. There is so much data on the wiki on the site already. Why lose it. And why not give it to Jackson Heights to continue.
(When Wikipedia was in its first year, there was a lot of growing to do. But now, everyone has heard of and knows Wikipedia.)
The residents of Jackson Heights can figure out the role the jacksonheights.nyc  site can play in the neighborhood. The site currently has historic data and practical data and links to this site and other Jackson Heights sites.
The site can help neighbors to organize, to market, to coorindate, to communicate, and so much more. It can be integral to help life in the neighborhood the same way the internet has become part of daily life.

September 16th, Saturday is Montclair Gardens' next Flea Market. It starts at 9:00 am and goes until 4-5:00 pm.
The location is 35 - 35 75th street which is between 37th and 35th avenues, on 75th street

It is time to collect your flea market items and reserve your space on 75th street between 37th and 35th avenues in front of 35-35. The Montclair Gardens Flea Market will be on Saturday, Sept 17. Set up time is 8:00 am. The Flea Market will be finished at 5:00 pm.

I have an armoire in a storage bin of my building and would like to sell it for $25.
If you would like to take a look at it, call me at 718-639-4222.
The armoire is 6 feet tall and 18 " deep. It is about 4 1/2 feet wide.
There are 4 shelves that go along with it. There is a bar for hanging clothing.
The mirror on the front is in the center section and three doors open.
It is for hanging clothing or storage of anything in your apartment; like another closet.

There are a few events in Jackson Heights of which I am proud. I am a life-long resident of Jackson Heights and this event tops the list. What better way to learn of the cultures of the people in this neighborhood, who speak 167 languages, and celebrate cultural diversity than by showing films from over 20 countries of the world. The other side of this coin shares the Queens genre by showing the films of the best filmmakers who live in Queens. We see the best possible of both worlds right here. BRAVO QWFF.

We have a Queens film festival and part of it takes place in PS 69.
There are 13 films screening on March 20, Friday night; 6:30, 8:15, 10:00
There are 11 films starting at 12:30 on Saturday March 21; 12:30, 2:30, 4:30
Please support the Queens World Film Festival at PS 69. It is a great opportunity
to see professional grade independently made films you cannot see anywhere else.
QWFF will be showing films outdoors during the summer in Jackson Heights also!
