this debate is going to go on forever. some people think living right next to an airport will result in airplanes flying overhead. some think that's outrageous, some think it's fine, some -- the group i fall into, as does one of our kind admins -- think it happens a dozen or so days a year and can be dealt with. some things are certain: airplanes will continue to use LaGuardia, everyone in every neighborhood around the airport will shout that the planes should take off over one of the other neighborhoods and not theirs. until we have aircraft that blast straight up, the planes have to go somewhere.
