I ended up going to Astoria Park with a beach chair and a book and the dog instead.  Sat in the shade and stared at the water mostly.  HEAVEN.

I've gone to the Chinese massage place on Ditmars in Astoria though and I thought they were great especially an hour massage for $50.  Can't beat that.

I haven't seen you around the boards lately.  Have you been traveling again?

Nope. Too hot. Dealing with family stuff. I am on a Staycation this weekend. Me, the air conditioner, the DVD player and some cold water. Screening calls.

Had a contractor here for a week, supposedly, ended up to be 3 but we are still friends. I am too hot to clean off the dust and the vacuum is the LAST thing I want to haul out.

Have to go have some iced tea now.

Having my Friday nite glass of red wine.  It's medicinal since after pomegranate juice it's the next best thing for antioxidants.  I'm very health conscious. heheheheheheheehee

I hate this weather. I am hot, I am grumpy, I go through 2-3 changes of clothes a day, my electric bill is sky rocketing, my Carbon Footprint is bigger than the whole ZIPCODE.

I love my new ceiling fans with the a/c.  so does my little dog.  He stretches out and I can tell he's happy.  I love him.
