We have 4 kitties.  This is the newest - adopted him as a kitten last year from a rescue org - he was found in the Javits Center Loading Dock. :/  He's the only kitten I've had since I was a kid - the other cats we have were adult rescues either from an organization or directly off the street.

His name is Herbie.  His nickname is Sh*thead. :)  He had no problem adjusting to his older brother and sisters when he joined the family in August.

Same here - all of my kitties were older ones either from a rescue group or from the street except for Willie.  He's the first youngster I've had for years and I forgot just how totally crazy young kitties are - more like mini demolition crews!

Thanks!!  I'm loving this thread and seeing everyone's pets.  They're all adorable. :D

Oh yeah, he is spoiled.  He learned what "Would you like a treat?" means - and last week stole and ate a CRACKER.  Such a nut job!

His baby picture (which was posted on petfinder when we were looking to adopt) is hilarious.

I've also attached a picture of Druzilla.  She was rescued from the streets of Flatbush, Brooklyn about 4 years ago.  She has a tough exterior but deep down she's a mush.  And she STEALS SOCKS!   We find socks all over the apartment when we get home.  Luckily she only likes clean socks.  Here's a picture of her with a stash. lol

I have no pictures of Tigger & Swati here at work so that will have to be another time. :D

Herbie's baby photo is so cute!  You wonder how someone could leave such a beautiful, innocent creature in the street. 

I had a (grouchy) tuxedo girl once, thrown out by the super of a building in Jackson Heights when her owner died.  She collected socks too and brought them into her nest, which was a cardboard box.  We called them her "kittens".

I'm loving seeing everyone's pets too.  They're all such beautiful spirits.

Herbie was born to a feral momma cat.  

They have lots of problems with stray cats breeding at Javits.  The woman who was fostering Herbie told me there's a Teamster that catches the kittens and adults whenever he can so they can either be A) adopted out or B) TNR.  It's really sad.  (Sad that there are so many cats in that dangerous area - happy that a Teamster is helping - just to clarify!)

Halloween is coming up and they have tons of outfits for pets.  I went to the College Point party thingy place.  They had a few nice ones but I think these places lack vision.  There are so many outfits outthere

has anyone chosen their pets outfit?

I'm reviving this thread  because I'm sure we must have some new pets in the forum or newer photos of pets we've seen before.  This is Willie and Mitzi.  Willie, the ever-silly one, is sprawled out on the bed that Mitzi considers to be hers and she's sending him psychic messages to CLEAR THE HELL OUT!!!
