This might be a long shot, but do they stock sake too?

Yes they do, there were at least 4 different ones (2 of which were junmai, I didn't check out the others)....

Just stopped in for the first time this evening.  Loved it.  A great and unique addition to the neighborhood.  They were offering a wine tasting--tried a white and red.  Bought a lovely Cotes Du Rhone . . . for $14!  A lot of great values in this place.  Love the simple, rustic, (non-cheesy) decor.  NO cardboard to be seen!  The hand-written wine tags are great--especially the descriptions.  Very friendly sales staff and owner.  Now Jackson Heights needs a nice cheese shop next door--and a book store!  :)

Actually, JH already has a cheese shop next door. Well, at the corner at least: Italian Farms! Totally underrated in my opinion.

Hello everyone.  Just wanted to answer some of the questions.  We may open later.  It gets a little quiet on the streets around 8 p.m. but we may stay open until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday & Saturday.  If i get more requests for later hours i will look into it.  I would love to have classes in the space but it would probably be after the New Year.  Yes we have some great Sake and I am trying to arrange a Sake tasting.  I will keep you informed.  Another great place for cheese is Despana Brands on Northern Blvd.  Wonderful selection of cheeses from Spain.  Thanks again for the support.

We do have two more tastings this week.  Thurs. and Fri.  between 4:30 and 7:30.

The New York Times' Dining & Wine section makes mention of Table Wine in Jackson Heights.

Stopped by for the wine tasting at 4:30 this afternoon, and it was the highlight of an otherwise dreary day!  What a fun thing to do on the way home from work.  Wine was great.  Bob Marley music was a festive contrast to the snow and slush outside.  Really welcoming environment.  I am delighted to welcome these guys to the neighborhood.

So I just today got a chance to check out Table Wine.  Quaint, great selection and prices, helpful staff!

On this site we all talk about businesses just like this one to improve quality of life in JH.  Let's put our money where our mouths are and support this store and those like it.

I will personally increase my wine consumption to do MY part.  It's the least I can do.  : )

Silly Native, that was back when they were asking for signatures on a petition to help them get a move on their license.
