Awww, Handyman, my Handyman, you wanna talk withdrawal? Be nice to Handyman. He may be slightly nuts, but he's one of the good guys! He also is a BIG TIME loser. Right, Dear?

Next time you and Chuckster go for a walk, print out 2 of the following, clip them together at the top, and make a sandwich board for Casey.

The Weather Channel is trying to convince me that just because today is supposed to be 10 degrees lower than yesterday, at ONLY 86 degrees, it's gonna seem so much cooler! It will take an act of G-d, or a ConEd blackout, to turn my air conditioning off today!

How many outfits does one dog need?!?
Hmmm, now let's see:

18 for everyday indoor use
10 for everyday outdoor use
3 exclusively for rain
4 exclusively for snow
6 for really cold weather
4 for special occasions
3 exclusively for Christmas pictures
4–6 everyday hoodies
4–6 everyday t-shirts
3 warm pajamas for nights when there is no heat

I hope I haven't forgotten anything!

I know dogs can't eat chocolate.
A dog would have to eat 400%–500% of his body weight to be poisoned. How do you think they train an aggressive alpha male to be submissive? Most alphas won't work for just plain food, even if it is bologna. They use M&Ms. Turns most teeth-showing, growling alphas into a spread-eagled, willing-to-learn wussy puppy! (Try it, bite one in half, put it to Casey's nose, let him get a good sniff, then ask him to do something he has been unwilling to learn, after he does it, let him have the half. I've only known 1 dog in my lifetime that didn't work for. She much preferred slivers of parmigiano cheese!)

If you take him to the movies, buy him those little bite-sized chocolate-covered ice cream thingys! He'll be very, very quiet for you!

I think, as a general rule, all short snouted dogs have a problem with heat. My Affenpinscher hates it, and she let's me know. I use a very simple formula . . . if the dog is panting and dribbling saliva from the extended tongue, it is too hot for the dog.

Has anyone found doggie sun screen? If it came in a spray form, I would be tempted to try it.

That sounds like a great deal. I wonder if they also help with other vendor's applications, like Adobe InDesign and Illustrator or MS Excel. Those are the ones I seem to have most problems with.

Tell us about your Mac classes? Are they really worth the money? And you only won because I fell asleep very early. Now your winning has come to and end.

ONLY on weekdays on 30th Avenue in Astoria . . . all the outdoor cafes let you sit there with your dog(s) as long as you are by the outside of the tables (nearest the sidewalk)  and the dog(s) are well behaved. A couple of them will even give you a soup bowl of cold water under your table. This is one of my very special personal treats. I will go shopping early in the morning, go home and unpack everything, grab the dogs and head over to Athens for an iced coffee. Sure, I can make it at home, or find it less expensively elsewhere, but every now and then I get to see folks passing by that I haven't seen for ages, and by the time I leave, it's usually a table for 10 instead of 1 and the pups are chowing down on something yummy that some other diner can't finish! Oh! Yes. One other thing . . . i only do it when the ambient outdoor temperature is between 65–85 degrees.

I wanted to go out today for brunch, but, it's too damned hot to go out to go anywhere. I think I'll just stay right here and win all day long.
