He/SHE - I believe this dog is female... is posted in the QUEENS lost and found pets on facebook. I went out around there but by that time i think the dog walked further.
Dog has been walking around there for 3 days looking for their home.

Maybe someone can drive around - last seen around Junction Blvd. and 40th ave on Thurs eve at 5:15pm.

The link below has a photo of her. I also posted this on CL.

There was also a black and tan large dog running loose down Roosevelt and 37th ave Sunday morning, made a left on 79th street and 37th Ave after nearly getting hit by a car.

I was with my dog and crossed the street just in case he did not like dogs or I would have tried to catch him but was worried about my dog getting hurt.
but he did not bother with other dogs or people - he just kept running for dear life.

if anyone spots him contact QUEENS LOST AND FOUND PETS on FB. I noticed a dog similiar named Tyson missing around Jackson Heights.

Hoping he is caught and not hit by a car.

It was heartbreaking seeing this beautiful dog running loose but I don't know if he would've stopped - he didnt care about other people or dogs, he was just running for dear life and I was in his way.
What is crazy is that NO ONE SAW A THING? I called 911 to report but they didn't send a car to search.

Those people who do not pick up make it bad for all us dog owners. I get yelled at when my dog IS NOT EVEN DONE POPPING!  Some people need to wait until they see that I am going to pick it up!  - they have no right to yell at me before anything happens! - Ive been picking up poop for 16 yrs now.

Poop and SPIT are nasty.

Sunday Nov 12, 9:50am i saw a large breed tan and black dog running down from Roosevelt Ave to 37th Ave, cross the street, thank goodness no cars and made a left on 79th. There was no stopping hiim, he was running so fast. He looked well taken care of and young.
I hope that he stops to rest and someone can call him over and not get hit by a car.
If you find him, contact QUEENS LOST AND FOUND PETS ON FACEBOOK.

I think it is Tyson who is posted on there but not sure, he ran so fast but had same coloring.

I have fostered many many dogs. Just sign up with any rescue group, they need fosters like crazy in order to save dogs.

At first, you may feel overwhelmed until you and the dog get adjusted. REMEMBER THE DOG NEEDS TO DECOMPRESS..give the dog 2 weeks before he settles in and doesn't drive you crazy with peeing everywhere. It's so worth it at the end. Hard part is when they find a home..but you can always take another one in.

Astoria Veterinary Group on Steinway -
SEE DR. JODI SMITH OR DR. FITZGERALD (BOTH WOMEN) ARE EXCELLENT AND VERY VERY GENTLE WITH YOUR PET.

I have been to so many and they don't care how they handle my dogs, these women I trust and they do not push you into getting anything that you cannot afford, they give you options.
