Restaurants & Food / Does it have to be fried to be good?

How many of us are on a colesterol (SP!) medication?
I love the neighborhood, restaurants, etc. But where can I eat, or what, that isn't going to send me into cardiac intensive care or diabetes treatment?
Suggestions, please.
