"IMO maybe...a carrot rather than a stick COULD possibly be a better enlightened way to cajole folks. Rather than a sanctimonious approach. Maybe."

They've tried giving away money, lottery tickets, tickets to sporting events........the carrots haven't worked either.  Too many still refuse to get vaccinated.

This is the Superfresh in the 70s.  There is another Superfresh over behind the new Target and Chipotle on 82nd Street.  I don't believe there is a Superfresh on Northern around 88th.

A little sad as it's a wee bit nicer than other stores in the area.  Unfortunately, prices were generally higher and I imagine that kept most people away.

"The financial markets have nothing to do with the news."

The financial markets most certainly reacted to the news.  Without question.

This is sad.   :(

I'm pretty sure this idea was squelched years ago by the residents living in that vicinity.  Elevated subway trains are simply awful and create nothing but yuck below.

Curious that "live-in super" is not included in #2 above, although it does read "a building service employee is defined in the law to include, but not limited to......"

$2 billion dollars?!  I gotta believe that money could be better spent on something more important.

Just checked the website.  Well, certainly looks interesting, if a bit different.
