There has been a car alarm going off intermittently since 4pm. Somewhere near 34th Ave. & 74th St. Is there any way to make it stop?

I am pretty sure whomever is setting off huge colorful, illegal fireworks right now knows our police will do nothing and probably doesn't have to go to work soon.
Is there no law enforcement in Jackson Heights?

Restaurants & Food / Legends BBQ

Today we stopped by Legends to try their new Barbecue, the smoker is up and running and they serve ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken plus sides such as corn salsa (delicious), spinach, fries, onion rings, cole slaw and lots of other great foods. My meal was delicious and I can't wait to go back. the guys who work there are very nice. I think they are closed Tuesdays but open all of the other days. Try it out and let me know what you thought!

I have just come back from a great experience! I took my 3 and 5 year old for a dental check up. We went to Pediatric Dental World in Jackson Heights! Dr. Desiree Laracuente and her staff were totally amazing with my kids!
The office is right near Dr. Marino's office and it is nice and clean with a friendly staff. My kids were all smiles and got through x-rays and exams, cleaning with no problems. I wanted to tell you all what a great dentist Dr. Laracuente is, she went above and beyond all of my expectations and she takes insurance.

Hi all, I wanted to tell you about a new pre-Kindergarten in our area. It is called Maroo Christian Academy. This pre-kindergarten will serve children ages 2-5 years old. Our distinctive program offers art, music, body movement, drama, Christian education, and academic studies. We will offer Chinese language studies as well. Maroo has a special focus on science and this theme is revisited throughout the school year in the form of activities, experimentation and reflection.

I read this on the jhlistserv today:
I wanted to inform everyone that Chase bank on 82nd was robbed this
afternoon at 1:30pm. I was attempting to go the bank when they were
just letting people out(who looked scared) and the police were arriving.
Did anyone else hear anything about this?

My mom is selling mini Dachshund puppies, they are gorgeous, and home-raised on her small farm and bred for a sweet disposition 1 girl and 3 boys still available, they are 7 weeks old now and too cute.
