I wanted to pass along this information about a brand new CSA
(community supported agriculture) in Long Island City that still has
available shares. Since Farm Spot is sold out for the season, this
might be a viable option for Jackson Heights residents.

L.I.C. CSA
- organic vegetables (no fruit share) from Miller's Crossing Farm in
Hudson, NY
- sliding scale CSA (also offers scholarships, monthly payment plans
and accepts EBT)
- full vegetable share from $400-$515 depending on income, for 22 weeks
- half vegetable share from $200-$275 depending on income, for 22 weeks

- pick-up is mondays, 4-7pm, June 2 - October 27 at Jacob Riis
Neighborhood Settlement, 10-25 41st Avenue
