Q33 Route has been shortened, no longer goes to terminals

The MTA has shortened the route of the Q33 and it now ends at 95th Street at Ditmars Boulevard.

So to get to LaGuardia from 34th Ave, you have to go to 74th St. (backwards) and then take the 70 to the airport. Well, I guess this is progress. Of a sort.

Note that the new Q70 LTD only runs at 12-minute intervals during peak travel hours, and as much as 30-minutes apart during overnight hours. This is really a major disservice to the Jackson Heights community and especially those who work at LaGuardia, and it's all being done to improve travel times for Manhattanites. Thanks for nothing, MTA.

not sure i'd notice the difference between the current every 10 minute frequency and the proposed every 12 minutes, but that 30 minute wait is pretty dreadful: hoping there's some movement on that.

I think 30 minutes is pretty standard for overnight bus service. It at least matches the Q33's schedule.

You can also take the Q72 on Junction Boulevard.

Would it kill them to have the Q33 continue to stop at LaGuardia as well as the Q70? And is one bus every 12 minutes during rush hour going to even remotely meet the demand? Bear in mind we are talking about the major airport, serving the global megacity with 468 subway stations, that has no rail service whatsoever. (Yeah, that one!)
