This is a really good idea. Thanks for starting this thread, Native. Doing your part for the economy. Astorian's should follow suit.
The newer jobs end up farther and farther back, am I right? with the oldest at the top/front.
Would it be an improvement for jobs to have it's own category (maybe, maybe not). Each job posting would then have to be broken down into separate threads.
Are you just a good guy, or is this a business venture for you? are there any fees involved?

Wanted Full or Part Time: Lighting/Sign mechanic for maintenance work. Replace ballasts, transformers, LED's, bulbs at heights to 35'.

Must have experienced re-wiring, testing, replacing sockets, switches etc. Pull new wires. A willingness to pressure wash, paint and perform other tasks when needed is necessary.

Steady work 30 to 50+ hours a week. Starting salary $18.00 per hour with a good chance of quick advancement for the right person. Applicant must submit to a backround check have a clean drivers license, a car, and be legal.

A Co-Op community in Port Jefferson Station has a brand new swimming Pool and Pool Facilities. We are looking for lifeguards that are qualified to work in the brookhaven township.
All employees will be put through a free 2 day course for CPO certificate (Certified Pool Operator)!!

Duties:
Perform lifeguard dutes as necessary
Check pool chemicals
Clean and vacuume pool

Qualifications...

Must be Certified in CPR by the Red Cross
Must be a certified lifegaurd
Brookhaven pool experience is a plus but not required
CPO certificate a plus (required in Brookhaven). Our corporation will send you to the course and pay you to obtain the certificate if neccessary.
Must have own transportation.
We are looking for reliable people who show up for work and do their job!

Part time openings for weekdays and weekends.
