Welcome to all the new members. Please be prepared for the occasional spirited, good humored debates but mostly enjoy the sharing of information about everything under the Jackson Heights sun. (It does shine brighter here!)
I certainly hope it shines even brighter in the months to come! (Though the weather is gorgeous today.)
I think Buddy makes and excellent point, and I thank NYCNative for calling all of our attention to it. This board was designed by the moderators for the purpose of having an open discussion.
They even say in the rules to keep in mind that we probably live next door to the people you interact with on this board. And this seems to imply to treat people civilly. And to talk with them (publicly, probably even privately) as youw ould any 'real world' neighbor.
Now the very nature of this particular thread is feedback on realtors, and we can see both positive and negative feedback on several. I can understand the need for Buddy's reminder to us that spirited debates are just that ... after all, this board by its design of having people share their actual experiences may anger others.
But its not like any hypothethical member here, or one in any communiuty, "real-world" or "Net" or mixed both as this is, would think that anything here was a personal attack. After all, the best way to get good professional reviews would seem to be professional.
That said, cheers Buddy for say succinctly what I am trying to concur with: any discussion on these boards is just that. Me myself, I welcome any discussion on the boards (rather than say PMs (or even the misspelt PMS
) or even email and IMs) as only through discussion that we all participate in can positiove changes occur.
