I believe there's a street fair hosted by the 82nd St. BID on Sunday. But I could be wrong.

What's the BID?  Business I------ District?

Think before you speak.  Speak your mind.  Mind your business.  Business before pleasure.
Any questions?

Where do they announce these street fairs? I've lived in the neighborhood for over 6 years and have yet to learn of a street fair before it's actually happening.

My apartment faces 82nd street, so it was actually really annoying. It's nice of the BID to tell the people most inconvenienced by these things.

I think I know what building you are in we use to live there. There was a stage set up today that was BLARING some music. I didn't see much except south of roosevelt there were three or four kids play things set up. Perhaps we were there too early??

I live two blocks away and I could still hear the music when I got home!

It was on Sunday, Sept 19th on 69th St(Hart playground). If you don't speak Tagalog you would have
felt out of place. Are we done with street pairs/festivals already since summer ends this week?

I was in the area of San Gennaro early Saturday.  Unfortunately, hubby and I were in our car, but decided to pop by the fest anyway.  Of course, taking a car is ridiculous because there was no parking available.  We tried looking for a garage, but the flat rate for the day was $50!!!   :o  Since the outing was unplanned, we had no intention of spending an entire day there... just an hour or two.  To make a long story short, we headed elsewhere instead.
