I would like to thank the voters of the of the 13th District for electing me to the New York State Senate. It is an honor and privilege to serve as your Senator.  I have already begun serving the 13th district working with my fellow members in the Senate to craft a responsible budget that addresses our challenges without compromising our commitment to the most vulnerable members of our society.  I have and will continue to send a clear message to Albany: - this state’s budget cannot and will not be balanced on the backs of the working families in my district.

 

I look forward to representing you in the State Senate and working with every member of our community to build a stronger Queens and a stronger New York.  Together we can ensure that our children receive the educational opportunities they need to succeed in life, our residents have access to affordable and quality health care, and we build a strong, vibrant economy that provides quality jobs opportunities for all our workers.

 

Please take a moment to fill out your Census questionnaire.  An accurate count of the people in our district will ensure that we receive our fare share of the resources and representation that we need.  Being counted is valuable to you, your familly and your community.
