We expect the park to be open within a few weeks - there are still a few final construction issues to be addressed, a final community board meeting with immediate neighbors of the dog park and then the state DOT finally handing over the keys after all issues have been addressed ... This is not city parkland, but rather State DOT land, for which we are being granted access, so the process is occasionally more complicated that a dog park on city parkland. Yes, it's frustrating that its not open yet, but very, very soon.

Thanks Madalyn.

I should have my (first) new pup in late May - hopefully just in time to help inaugurate the run!  She is younger than I had planned, so once I am sure she is housebroken, the search for the second will begin.

I posted on another thread that I will need a dog walker (midday for the month of June).  I have gotten one referral and would like more so if anyone knows anyone....please post here or send me a private message.
