Who was in or remembers the Zoo Crew from the 70s and 80s ?

Looking for folks who were part of or remember the Zoo Crew ? Not the kids who ran around later. The original folks.

I would be one of the later kids, I joined up in the summer of 83. The original guys were from Astoria, then it moved to Aviation HS. Then throughout Queens, with a Chapter in Greenpoint Brooklyn and Morris Park the Bronx. I know one of the early members, but he's a cop now. He wouldn't want to talk about those days anymore . Any info you looking for ?

yeah those avaition guys werent real. those were a bunch of kids with jackets. the guys im talking about were folks from astoria and jackson heights. PS10 and St. Michaels were the hangouts and it was very, very crazy times.

Jackets ???  Nah think you have the wrong crew. What time period are you talking about ?
In case you didn't know the Zoo Crew had almost 1,500 members by 1980. Like I said with a chapter in Greenpoint and the Bronx. BTW I hung out at 10 park in Astoria too. ended up playing roller hockey with tons of guys from there.

Have you tried  Facebook?, I believe you may find some of the folks you are referring to on there.
