The Burger place on Northern Blvd. - Xtasis

I always run by that burger place on Northern Blvd. I think it's near the choladas place.  Is it good? The photos outside look so delicious.

Are you referring to Xtasis on Northern Blvd. by 82nd Street?  It's the place with the pink lighting outside.  I haven't tried it, but I've heard that they have some wild toppings for their burgers... stuff like pineapple, chips, etc. 

Xtasis is also known for their 'perros calientes' (hot dogs), also served with non-traditional toppings.  The food blog, Serious Eats recently had an entry on hot dogs, and Xtasis was one of the local restaurants that was highlighted for its dogs.  Their burgers may be served with similar toppings.

You'll find some Yelp reviews here, but they're not very recent.

never had a burger but i  :smitten: the dogs. the chips/pineapple combo sounds odd, but i adore the sweet and salty contrast

I've been. Had some kind of pulled pork and pineapple grilled sandwich. Its an experience, and quite a stylistic place, which is worth a visit overall. Be prepared to have your order screwed up a bit, and to wait a long time. You order and pick up at the counter, then find a seat. Loud, kind of clubby music, even when its empty. As for burgers, I wouldn't expect anything typical-and the ingredients are not the best. If you go thinking 'fast food', you might enjoy it.

lol, sounds like a very interesting place, i definitely have to get one of my more adventurous friends to try it out w/me! I love pulled pork and the hotdogs look very tempting. Thanks for the feedback!

I really enjoy the Super Xtasis burger and occasionally the Cheese sticks.

If you are looking for a really good burger the only one in the neighborhood is at Cassidy's Ale House on 75t and 31st near the Waldbaums shopping center
