Pedestrian death on Queens Blvd.

A neighborhood resident, Maricela Perea, was killed last Wednesday crossing Queens Blvd.

The article says she was a single mom with a 15-year-old daughter.  Does anybody know the family?  If there is anything being organized to help the girl out, please post information about it here.
