A person who is comfortable using the word drunkard probably also would use the words Negro and retard. Just saying.

...Unfortunately...

It is far, far easier to virtuously criticize folks on this forum...than to tackle... and try to solve the real issue on the streets.

It is interesting to see how you wriggle out of confusing not being an adult with not being human.

Who is wiggling out of anything other than the person who belittles and dehumanizes others as not being adults?

Are you doing anything to solve real issues on the streets? If so, please enlighten us and let us know how others can participate. Or are you just criticizing people on the internet?

Perhaps it might be time to look in the mirror. And ask the same question of yourself.

The problem is city-wide. And nation-wide.

Well, the only solution may be for Bezos et al to philanthropically sink their billions into solving this.
Now that they have had fun playing space cadet.

this is the best suggestion put forth here so far. five billion would go a long way, and barely dent the pocketbooks of Musk and company.

We squabble about open streets and community centers.  However our weak leadership let’s a group of aggressive males hammer back  20 oz straw-beer-Rita’s a day long in front of the center of our community, the post office.  How does this happen? Are we allowed cops in JH anymore?  These Wasteoids are within the shadow of ps 69.  I’m fairly certain that is  very illegal.

Just curious, has any local community council candidate made any mention about this? They certainly would get my vote.

This is what happens when you defund the police.

That hasn’t happened so your comment is invalid

Not even remotely close to the same thing snowflake. Should they be called the alcohol challenged?

They should be called alcoholics. They suffer from a disease which is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. Most do not recover. They will eventually die of alcohol related illness. Do you have a special jeering name for anyone who has lung cancer and ever smoked?  I think a little pity and compassion is called for.

Not sure if we know these men are addicted to alcohol, but they definitely are drunk by their behavior.  Seems pretty woke to get offended by the term 'Drunkard'.

Look, not everyone who has severe problems with substance abuse, and these men most certainly do, are fallen saints. While I agree that there should be some system in place to help these people, none of us commenting on this message board have the training and resources to do anything about this except for continuing to email our elected officials, who are absolutely useless in every way, and have been for years. In the meantime, we shouldn't need to tolerate the various and sundry degeneracies that contribute to a substantial decline in our quality of life, especially when these people refuse help.

Agree. Obviously it is far, far easier to fight on this forum about terminology. And argue "Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the most "virtuous" amongst us all?"  Than actually really face the true problem in the streets.

I hope all of the fatties, Negros, beaners, cripples, crackers, white trash and retards agree with you that terminology doesn't matter. Oh, the drunkards, too.
