Honoring the Heroes of Elmhurst

Queens World Film Festival is inviting everyone to celebrate the Heroes of Elmhurst and kick off International Nurses Week
on Monday, May 10 at 10:00am in front of Elmhurst Hospital Center at 79-01 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373 (facing the The Frank D. O'Connor Playground).
 
As part of the honors, Queens World will present a handcrafted plaque and a few other nice things.

MONDAY MAY 10, 10:00 am
LOCATION: 79-01 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373 (Facing the The Frank D. O'Connor Playground)
Run of Show:

10:00 am -- Community, hospital supporters and local filmmakers gather in the The Frank D. O'Connor Playground across the street from the hospital with their bells, whistles, pots and pans ready to show their appreciation for the Heroes of Elmhurst
10:25 am -- Appreciation Celebration with applause and cheers.
10:30 am --Welcome and Opening Remarks, Helen Arteaga Landaverde, Elmhurst CEO
Preston Cato of the Queens World presents Helen with the plaque on behalf of the festival
10:40--Elected Official Remarks and Proclamation Presentation                                     
10:50--Richard Calvache thanks Elmhurst for taking care of father Edgar Calvache, who was hospitalized at Elmhurst due to COVID-19
10: 55--Closing Remarks-Rose Green, NYSNA Rep
11:00—11:10--Program Concludes
