Jackson Heights Life

Hi folks, my apartment building, which is run by BRG management, has a lot of issues. Among them is the fact that the dryers have been out of service for almost 2 months. Management tells us that there is an "issue with the gas line" and there is no timetable for having this fixed.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue in their building, and if so, how it was handled. Has anyone had temporary dryers installed? Do we have a right to reduce our rent payments due to lack of agreed service?
