Long Island City's long-awaited food hall is finally opening at The Jacx at Queens Plaza

Eater: A Flashy New Food Hall Brings Some of NYC’s Top Talent to Long Island City.   

I'm particularly excited to try Fieldtrip, by a chef I've been following for a while (but alas, not tasting very often).

Taim, the Israeli vendor, is a favorite! Fresh and flavorful and yummy....

Met a Manhattan friend at Jacx last Thursday.  Both of us had tasty Israeli/Middle Eastern meals from Taim, except their bottled lemonade was too sweet. A big empty barn of unoccupied tables except one other couple with the vendors on two sides and on a mezzanine (Japanese).  Recorded music both too loud and hardly discernible except as blaring sound; asked the wait staff cleaning tables to turn it down to no effect.  Will not make a trip there again, but OK if happen to be in area.
