Playground

Any idea when these officially can be open?
I’m tired of seeing them used for sweaty workouts, but not kids.

Also, in sunny side all non actual playground areas are open.  So when do we get the tennis court back?

I think the playground re-opened officially yesterday.

So nice for parents and kids. Many fewer kids on 34th Ave today. Let's see when gyms
and beaches open. Hope people keep walking.

Sorry, I need to correct myself: I learned from the park rangers that the playgrounds are NOT officially open. In fact, I saw them on Friday night asking people to leave.

Here is where you can get updates:

Happy they are open.  Now ...

1) how can we keep sweaty adults from working out in a children’s playground?

2) seeing as it’s a heat wave has anyone heard anything about the water being turned on?

I have been trying to bring my child early to beat the heat and there are many adults exercising in the playground area — doing pull ups on the monkey bars and boxing. I understand gyms are closed and it’s difficult to exercise in our apartments. But, these people are NOT WEARING MASKS and it’s stressing me out.
