crash on 34th and 79th
« on: May 28, 2020, 05:15:52 PM »
Does anyone know anything about the crash between a USPS truck and passenger car that happened about 4:30 in the morning one day last week?  My husband saw the vehicles partially up on the median later that morning as they were being prepared to be towed.  And he heard the crash.  I slept through it and our windows don't face that corner. I thought for sure from his description of how badly the car was damaged, and that the cab of the truck was burned, that there'd be some news coverage...but nothing.  So sad, we were concerned for the drivers/passengers.

According to this Twitter post, "the motorists were ok"... hopefully that means not injured.

modern cars crumple on the outside but do a decent job of protecting passengers. hope no one was hurt badly.
