Beer Reccomendations

Do any of our local supermarkets (either on Roosevelt or 37th Ave) carry any good beer especially Stouts?

Food Town on 37th and 76th had been good for beer selection, both ubiquitous standards and some local breweries (I recall LIC Beer Project cans there).

Local breweries are now doing home delivery, too.  I know Mikeller, Finback, and KCBC are offering scheduled deliveries.  I'd recommend checking out what they have to offer, stouts included.

If you're in need of a new hobby you could always make your own beer.  Bitter and Esters is our one and only local homebrew supply shop and their delivery within the boroughs is very rapid (I got my order next day).  They're also extremely helpful and encouraging, as is a lot of the homebrewing community.

In addition to Foodtown, I've seen some cans from local breweries (Finback, Singlecut, etc.) at Shah's Deli in the Bruson Building. But yes, check out local breweries to see what they're doing for deliveries. (Giving a plug here for Big Alice in LIC!)

Saw some cool stuff on the menus but it doesn't look like they're delivering everything or what I would want. I'll definitely check these out once this whole thing blows over though.
