Thanks for sharing this. The difference in numbers is substantial to say the least.

Actually, I played a bit more with this site, and it appears to be a consistent pattern. I randomly changed the dates to various time points e.g. in 2019, and the pattern is identical: Corona is a big outlier, followed by Elmhurst, and to a lesser extent JH, Sunnyside/Woodside. So there is probably some underlying/preexisting issue, but not necessarily coronavirus. That's not to downplay it though.

Interesting - thanks for looking into it further. I wonder what causes Corona to consistently be an outlier.
That's a big relief if they're not experiencing the magnitude of cases I initially thought from first glance. Tough time for our communities, hoping Elmhurst Hospital and their medical personnel are receiving the support they need.

At today's briefing, Governor Cuomo pledged to build four more hospitals in the mold of the Javits Center outfitting -- one in each borough.

The Queens one will be at Aqueduct Race Track.

I have not noticed 37th Avenue being any dirtier. I don't think Diversity Plaza is dirty in general - it's used by a lot of people, which is great. Trash does come with heavy use, unfortunately, but I don't find it dirtier than any other heavily used plaza in the city.

If 37th Avenue is dirtier, perhaps it has to do with so many shops being closed. I'd imagine that most play a part in keeping the sidewalks clean.

I'm hoping this isn't real. Very disturbing if it is.

"Authorities remove close to one million N95 respirator masks, gloves, gowns and other medical supplies after a Brooklyn man was caught allegedly hoarding the equipment. He faces charges for lying to investigators and coughing on FBI agents who confronted him."

(I do find it odd that they are carrying one box at a time.)
