TORTILLERIA NIXTAMAL @ 104-23 Roosevelt Ave is pretty wonderful.

They make and sell fresh, warm, corn tortillas. Baked in front of you on the premises. 

And that's all they sell. (I didn't see any chicken there, tho it's mentioned on their website)

Kinda like the "hot bagels" concept.  But tortillas.

You can buy them from lots of 8 tortillas, to an endless amount I suppose.

Thanks so much for this reminder! I used to go fairly regularly to their old location, which of course was a full-blown restaurant, but I would often buy tortillas too. Nice to have them a little closer.

I somehow missed that their restaurant on 47th Ave closed last year. How sad.

Are both of their new locations—on Roosevelt and National St—both just for tortillas? Not full-blown restaurants? Their old space was so charming.
