Serving as staff to a Member of Congress is quite a different job than leading an insurgent political movement.  I think AOC is right to hire professional congressional staff who won't create controversies for her to deal with.  This is not a sign of disarray -- it's a sign of her learning how to do better at her job.

Don’t you worry. AOC is creating enough controversy with her “Green New Deal”.  She wants to double the price we pay for electricity. Good luck with Solar when it is 100 degrees outside.

I'm curious what will happen to AOC with these people gone...  Does she have any convictions of her own or does she flop over like a ragdoll?  We'll find out soon.

https://nypost.com/2019/08/03/feds-probing-aocs-chief-of-staff-saikat-chakrabarti-after-sudden-resignation/?utm_campaign=iosapp&utm_source=pasteboard_app

Headlines are not meant to convey much beyond "please click here."

The above article is not news. It's last March's news. According to the topic actually written about, the Feds would be the FEC. And what is probing? Is that opening a case? That's not a charge. We know Saikat is a schemer. Here's his confounded excuse for how things got this way. https://justicedems.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/33000223353-when-i-look-at-the-fec-report-for-justice-democrats-in-2017-why-are-there-so-many-expenditures-to-b

Expect more of this type of dance routine from these criminals. They habitually "resign" the second things heat up. They are as dishonest as anyone in politics.

AOC is the worst thing to happen to this neighborhood.  The audacity of supporting Caban was enough for me to never support her in any way.  I will never vote for her again.  In fact, I would vote for anybody else to get her out of public office.  The minute she supported Caban she lost me for ever.  Caban would have been the worst thing to ever happen to JH.  Imagine what it would be like to have a DA who doesn't enforce prostitution laws in Queens.  What do you think would happen to our neighborhood?  It is one thing to become a legislator and change the laws, it is another to be the chief law enforcement officer and decide not to prosecute criminals involved in the sex trade.  Thank god Caban lost.  I can only hope that AOC loses - I hope they throw the book at her staff and put them in jail, assuming the violated federal laws.

Some people on this board think that’s just part of the diversity.

Some people on this board think that’s just part of the diversity.

and some people are gripped with the kind of hysteria and fear that fueled the Red Scare. at least it's amusing to watch them twist in the wind.

I reached out via her web form asking for support on my project to do an open studio in Jackson Heights next month. They did get back to me via email, we spoke on the phone and they were professional. They did not unfortunately have any advice to offer and ultimately, were not helpful.

Surprised they responded at all. Saikat Chakrabart , her ex chief of staff is being investigated for fund raising violations.

Good to hear that they at least responded. I sent two inquiries via the web form and never heard anything back. Maybe they're making some progress on the learning curve?

If you need a learning curve just  to respond to a phone call, then we are really in trouble.  Hope this "curve"  includes a course in US government  and economics!
