On Woodside Avenue from 75th to 78th. it's a Thai New Year celebration, with entertainment, festivity and a lot of food -- about a dozen vendors selling things that, for the most part, are good to eat while you walk. there are tables for sit down eating, and everyone is extremely friendly.  yes, there are typical noodle dishes and curry puffs, but there are some other items that you can eat if you're adventurous (the whole little fish) or if you're not. vendors are happy to explain things if that's needed.
