I understand now. These groups appear to hold the political power (via Jessica Ramos/AOC) in the borough.

Oh no, not "these groups" "holding the political power".
What groups? How do they hold power? Where's your evidence?

With a quick google: One of the  two quoted tweets  was from a pretty far left group (RedCanary) who were thankful that Jessica Ramos supported sexworkers having safe working conditions  (noted: Beherenow's absolutely reasonable critique of a decriminalization bill that ramos supports!)

The other thankyou was from RedCanary to @QueensBarrios and had nothing to do with our elected officials.....

----

Not everyone that opposed Amazon is pro-undocumented-worker rights FWIW (and vice versa), but as long as you can paint everyone who disagrees with your perspective with the same brush, have at it!

Oh, and No mention of AOC anywhere in this BTW! Why don't you just say "scary left-wing latinas and their illeeeegal friends"  and get it over with - it's much quicker that way.

Please respect my boundaries and do not reinterpret my words via your accusations. Thank you.

Both those tweets were retweets by Queens Neighborhoods United, which is QueensBarrios. There are many groups, fluid and flux and purposefully confusing. QNU acts as the umbrella for smaller groups, but is the grassroots of the democratic socialists. However, DSA deliberately distances and obscures the relationships.

So yes, AOC.

I realize that some folks have already twisted my original post into a racial argument. Whatever. But the point of it was that JHLife members were specifically blaming the cops for not doing their job and in some instances if I recall correctly, participating in the crimes.

The tweets I posted show evidence of why that may not be the case.
