Seeking Caregiver for Young Woman

Hi! This NOT an ad for a company. I'm a young, mostly homebound woman with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. For the past five years, I have been working to build a team of caregivers/assistants to help me with day to day living. Daily duties include a combination of household care, caregiving tasks, and some administrative tasks. If you love cooking, exploring recipes or gardening you might really enjoy working for me. Below are some additional details about the job.
HOURS: Thursday-Friday 9am-8pm; Saturday 1-8pm. Some subbing on other days.
DUTIES:
• Household care: cooking, light cleaning, laundry, running errands, watering plants
• Healthcare: pushing wheelchair, assistance with light stretching, medication management, physician’s appointments
• Admin: phone calls, time management and to-do lists for both of us, communicating with other caregivers
You must be friendly, calm, reliable, and responsible. Must speak English fluently and be legal to work. You must live within 45 minutes of Jackson Heights (Queens) and be comfortable travelling to Washington Heights (Manhattan). All genders welcome.
PAY: $15/hr plus paid sick and vacation time (non-negotiable)
If hired, you will need to complete a state-mandated medical exam, paperwork and two half-day training sessions with my current caregivers before your first day.
