Hi folks,
Hoping you could help with some recommendations here.  I am on the design committee of my very large co-op building and I am looking for recommendations for painting contractors who have experience doing lobbies and hallways at a large scale (my building has over 100 units).  I am seeking recommendations only from folks who live in their co-ops and either are on the board or have knowledge of the painting contractor that was used for their building.  Please recommend only contractors that you believe did a quality job - our previous contractor did not use durable paint so we are living with the consequences after just a few years...
Thanks so much!

If you're handling contracts for painting it would probably not be a bad idea learning a bit about paints and primers and specifying what should be used in the various areas of your building.  Paint wearing quickly isn't always an issue with the durability of the paint, but is highly affected by wall preparation and appropriate application of the right kind of primers.
