No need to worry.

Everything will be defunded due to Covid 19.

I believe, if my history research serves me right, everything was defunded in NYC in the 1970's/1980's.

I am also aware, from reading about it, what NYC was like in those defunded days.

It's time to defund the police. Money needs to be spent on education, healthcare, mental health, and revitalizing our communities. We don't need militarized police departments anymore.

Why will everything be de-funded, and what do you base that on?

the most recent NYC budget was a hair under $90 billion. $2 billion in cuts is not inconsiderable, but it's hardly a doomsday budget.
