How long it took for them to mail you the absentee ballots. I applied online on 6/10, I still haven't received it yet.

I believe mine arrived 1.5 to 2 weeks after I submitted the request online. One of my two friends who sent their request by mail finally received theirs on Friday or Saturday.

They have to be postmarked no later than tomorrow (possibly today). If you have not received yours, I'd plan on voting tomorrow, if you are able to.

they can be postmarked tomorrow, and as Shelby noted, you must sign the internal envelope for your vote to be counted. i looked for a place on the ballot iself and was frantic that i was missing something.

My ballot states that it needs to be postmarked by the day before the election.

But......does anyone else find much of this absurd?  Outside of a few races (and President doesn't really even count this time) nobody knows who most of these people are!!!!

The instructions say that but the website says the deadline was extended til the 23rd. https://www.elections.ny.gov/votingabsentee.html

If you are worried about it (which I think is somewhat wise!), I've heard you can drop off the absentee ballot at your regular voting place on voting day. But I don't have a link for that.

not true. those who don't pay attention to local civic affairs don't know. those who do, do.

it behooves us to learn what goes on in the world around us. the people "nobody knows" are those who have the most ability to work for (or against) us. convention delegates are a different story, but chances are you know enough names to know what the others in that group stand for -- see: Gianaris/Ramos et al.
