Anybody remember the army barracks on northern Blvd
and 71st/72nd Street.  Have been looking for pics, but
can't seem to locate anything online via a keyword search.

Briefly, I did live there with my family in the 50's before
they were torn down to make way for a development that
is there now.  I did find a pic of my young self standing in
front of one of those converted barracks. 

Anybody online remember this part of Jackson Heights and
did you also live their.  Look forward to hearing from you.

A Bit More Info:

Housing for the military coming home were referred to
WWII Veterans Quonset Huts

I had no idea! Fascinating. Was the housing actually quonset huts?  I see a lot of them in New England but not here.
