For those of us who like to walk in the snow with no objective other than to score a hot chocolate, between 84th and 76th on 37th, I can say the following are open:

Jahns
Pan & Mas
Seba Seba
Juju's Cafe
City Coffee
Cafe Bene
Starbucks
La Casa De Los Antojitos

Many delis seem to be open too, along with Kim's Fruits, Italian Farms and Red Beret Butchers.

Have fun walking, but don't even think of driving.  Saw a Jeep Wrangler unable to move by 81st Street and a minivan was (last I saw), mired in the intersection at 78th.

I saw a white jeep wrangler pushing a minivan at 79/37th, most likely the same ones

Also, Lemon Farm is open

Great picture, Shelby. That's what I love about snow, when it's that beautiful. Remind of that on Monday when I step in a grey slush puddle.

Also, unless I'm reading this very wrong, we just got bumped to the 24" - 30" range.

There is a ban on driving on all roads that's going into effect at 2:30 pm today.

Three cheers to all of the people out working hard to keep our sidewalks clean!

And ten cheers to the hardworking neighbor I just saw out clearing the corner so that pedestrians could cross the street!

First time ever that I know of the plows not continuously riding around, and we certainly have paid the price.
