72 Sun Mi on Roosevelt
« on: August 28, 2008, 09:49:32 PM »
Anybody know anything about this place?? It looks so interesting. almost like a speakeasy. now, I will walk into nearly anywhere, but I dont know... I gotta say this place intimidates me.
First, it's only open at night.
then the stark black awning sign and you cant really see inside. it seems so exclusive.

I'm interested. anyone have any info??

jeff, how do you find these places?  You must just wander the streets.  I guess it's a tough job and someone has to do it.  Might as well be you.   ;)
First, do no harm.

It'll help if you give us the address. Is this a Korean restaurant/bar?

That's funny - I was just walking by there this morning and was wondering what the deal is with it.  It's right next to Zabb Thai. so I guess that's 71st & Roosevelt.  The awning says it's a restaurant, but they must not be open for lunch as I walked by at around 11:45 am and didn't see any signs of life.

I see them only open late late at night when I'm walking the streets.
I THINK it's korean.

I wish it was japanese though. there are at least 3 late night korean bbqs on broadway right below roosevelt.  I'd kill for an izakaya - but that's just pipe dreams.
