Hey guys, I'm new here (in the forum, not the neighborhood lol) and I wasn't sure if there was a good place to post this but since summer is here already with the hot and humid temperature and the main AC in my apartment broke (18000 BTU Window AC Friedrich with 230 V) I am in great need of someone who can repair ACs. I have no idea where to find one although my mom seems to know a guy who could try to fix it. However, I wanted to post here to see if anyone has any better recommendations than just 'some guy'? Please include the pricing too if possible. Thanks

Since I'm an engineer graduate I tried to learn how to fix an AC via online resource/youtube. I suspect the fan is broken but my parents don't trust me enough to try to fix it because you need to be a 'professional' to do so.... Please help, I'm melting.
